Single-frame Adjustable External Fixator in the Treatment of Elderly Type C Distal Radius Fractures

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the results of single-frame adjustable external fixator in treating type C distal radius fractures in elderly patients. Method:From March 2010 to March 2014,43 cases with type C distal radius fractures were operated with single-frame adjustable external fixator after the reduction.All the patients follow up 3 to 24 months.Result:According to the Dienst scoring system,31 patients were excellent and 9 patients were good,better with 3 patients,no poor,the rate of excellent and good was 93.02%(40/43).Conclusion:Single-frame adjustable external fixator is effective in the treatment of type C distal radius fractures in elderly patients,Single-frame external fixation is simple,safe and has good therapeutic effects.
