The Clinical Experience of Transurethral Plasma Cut in the Treatment of Senile Hyperplasia of Prostate

Abstract：Objective:To explore the clinical effect of transurethral plasma cut method in the treatment of the elderly prostatic hyperplasia. Method:From March 2011 to December 2014 in our hospital,200 elderly patients with hyperplasia of prostate were selected as the research object,they were divided into the observation group and the control group,the control group was adoptted the urethra prostate electricity cut method(TURP),the observation group was taken transurethral plasma cut method(PKRP), two groups of clinical therapeutic effects were compared.Result:The treatment group was better than the control group in the intraoperative blood loss,pain degree,infusion time,average hospital stay time,there were significant differences(P<0.05).The date of PRV,QOL,IPSS and Qmax had significant differences in the observation group and the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate in the observation group and the control group were 7.00%,16.00%,compared with the control group,the complications in the observation group was lower,there was significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Transurethral plasma cut method in the treatment of elderly prostatic hyperplasia has high safety,low adverse reaction,curative effect and other advantages,has very important significance in improving the elderly patients’ quality of life.
