Abstract:Objective:To analyze the pulmonary infection in elderly patients with white blood cell count,C-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate value assessment.Method:126 elderly patients admitted to hospital with pulmonary infection were enrolled(the observation group)and examined in the same period of healthy people(56 cases, the control group),the test results of two groups were compared.Result:There were no difference in leukocyte count all patients,C-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate were significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant between two groups(P<0.05), and CAP patients and AECOPD patients erythrocyte sedimentation rate has a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:C- reactive protein, white blood cell count and indicators to assess better assess erythrocyte sedimentation rate in the diagnosis of pulmonary infection in elderly patients,is worthy of attention and application.
