The Application of N-terminal Brain Natriuretic Peptide and Serum Homocysteine Combined Detection in Chronic Heart Failure
GAO Xiang-yang
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application of N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide and serum homocysteine combined detection in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Method:70 cases of CHF which treated in our hospital from June 2012 to October 2014 were selected as the observation group, these patients were grouped according to NYHA grade, while the same period 70 cases of physical healthy people were selected as the control group, NT-proBNP and HCY levels in both groups and different NYHA classification patiens were tested and compared.Result:The observation group NT-proBNP was (3141.1±198.3)ng/L and Hcy levels was (21.5±3.7)μmol/L,compared with the control group of NT-proBNP was (183.7±5.2)ng/L and Hcy levels (9.8±1.4)μmol/L,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),with NYHA class increase,NT-proBNP and Hcy levels gradually increased, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Serum levels of NT-proBNP and Hcy can see as chronic heart failure diagnosis reference, and the indexs content relevant to their functional class, can be used as indicators to determine the extent of the disease.
