Clinical Study of PICC Catheter Related Bloodstream Infection Control In Neonatal Ward

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the situation of neonatal ward PICC catheter-related bloodstream infection control.Method:91 cases of critically ill newborns in our hospital from 2011 to 2015 were selected,all newborns used PICC catheter treatment,and the factors of catheter-related bloodstream infections were analyzed.Results:PICC catheter-related bloodstream infections were 15 cases,the proportion was 16.5 percent.Shorter gestational age at birth,low birth weight and birth rates 5 min Apgar ≤7 points could improve the chances of PICC catheter-related bloodstream infection control.Conclusion:Strengthening the clinical observation of the above symptoms in children,and to make reasonable care measures to control infection and improve treatment safety.But this article is not comprehensive,we will continue to focus on the latter part of relevant clinical studies to improve the integrity of the article.
