Abstract:Objective:To explore the relationship between the level of serum TNF-α,neutrophil complement receptor 3(CR3),and bacterial infection in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation(AECOPD) patients.Method:60 AECOPD patients were divided into two groups according to sputum culture,25 cases in the positive group and 35 cases in the negative group. The serum TNF-αand CR3 was measured.Result:The level of the serum TNF-αand CR3 in the positive group was higher than the negative group, there was statistically difference in two groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the level of the serum TNF-αand CR3 in the positive group were showed a downwardtrend. After five weeks of treatment, there was no statistical difference in two groups(P>0.05).The serum TNF-α,CR3 positively related to the sputum culture positive group(P<0.05).The serum TNF-α,CR3 had no correlation with the negative group. Conclusion:The bacterial infection of AECOPD patients has a significant correlation with their TNF-α and CR3.
