Abstract:Objective:To study the influence of cataract, glaucoma combined operation to sticky protein 5AC Levels(MUC5AC) and ocular surface function of tear in patients with glaucoma.Method:32 cases of patients with glaucoma were selected from April 2012 to April 2014 in our hospital as the object of study, all patients underwent the combined surgery of glaucoma and cataract, the tear MUC5AC levels and eye table function score was measured and compared of patients 1 day before operation and postoperative 1,3,6 months.Result:Tears of the patients with MUC5AC in operation after one month was significantly lower than before, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After 3 months, there was no significant difference compared with preoperative 1 d(P>0.05);Postoperative 6 months were higher than those of 1 day before, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Patients with ocular surface function score, postoperative 1 month were higher than those of 1 day before, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After 3 months, there was no significant difference compared with preoperative 1 d(P>0.05);Postoperative 6 months was significantly lower than 1 day before, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Glaucoma combined with cataract surgery can make tear MUC5AC temporarily decreased, transient impairment ocular surface function of tear in patients, but it can be gradually improved with the extension of time.
