Clinical Observation of Absorption Patch and Double-layer Three-dimensional Patch Treatment in Patients with Wall Defect after Inguinal Hernia

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical curative effect of absorption patch and prolene hernia system treatment in patients with wall defect after inguinal hernia.Method:100 cases of clinical datas patients with wall defect after inguinal hernia were retrospective analysized from January 2012 to June 2013 in our hospital department of general surgery,52 patients were treated with the prolene hernia system tension-free hernia repair (observation group),48 patients were treated with absorption patch,the operating time,get out of bed activity time,average hospital stay and cost of hospitalization,and complications were observed of the two groups.Result:Two groups of patients in operation time,bed time,average hospitalization time and cost of hospitalization had no significant difference(P＞0.05);2 years recurrence rate of observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Two groups had no infection,hematoma of the scrotum and hydrocele of tunica vaginalis incidence of postoperative complications. Conclusion:Absorbable patch and double-layer three-dimensional patch can be used as material of indirect inguinal hernia,but for the posterior wall defect patients,prolene hernia system is more firmly,the recurrence rates are low and more safety.
