The Analysis of Apoptosis Index in 57 Cases of NSCLC Tissue

Abstract：Objective:To detect the level of tumor cell apoptosis in NSCLC,and investigate the relationship of apoptosis index(AI) with clinicopathological features.Method:The level of 57 cases of NSCLC and 19 cases of cell apoptosis were evaluated by TUNEL,and analyzed the relationship with the clinicopathological features such as lymph node metastasis,tumor stage,histological type.Result:The level of AI in NSCLC tissues was statistically lower than that in adjacent non-cancerous lung tissues(P<0.001).The AI of With lymph node metastasis group was higher than that in non transfer group(P<0.001),the Ⅰ and Ⅱ group were higher than the Ⅲ and Ⅳ group.Conclusion:The level of AI in NSCLC tissues was statistically lower than that in adjacent non-cancerous lung tissues,and it was correlated with lymph node metastasis,TNM stage.Cell apoptosis may be an important mechanism for the development of NSCLC,but could it be a prognostic indicator,it may need more factors to evaluate.
