Abstract:Objective:To study the relationship between carotid stenosis and transient ischemic attack.Method:18 cases carotid artery stenosis in patients with transient ischemic attack admitted in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2015 were selected as the observation group, the other 18 healthy peoples were selected as the control group.Different position differences in incidence of carotid stenosis of two groups were compared, the correlation of different degree of stenosis and the frequency of attack and attack time was recorded.Result:The total stenosis rate of the control group was 33.33%,compared with 100%of the observation group, there was statistical significance(P<0.05).Patients with seizure frequency, the more serious the degree of stenosis, the higher the number of cerebral ischemia occurs every week.Onset time, more than 60 minutes in the incidence of mild and severe had significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Carotid artery stenosis with transient ischemic attack frequency and time correlation in attack.
