Clinical Study of the Treatment of Reducing Sugar Tolerance from the Spleen

Abstract：Objective:To explore the manner and effect of impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) from spleen.Method:128 cases of IGT treated in our hospital from October 2012 to October 2013 were randomly divided into 4 groups,those were the Chinese medicine group,moxibustion group,combined group and Western medicine group,32 cases in each group.Traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with additive Shenlingbaizhu Decoction;moxibustion group had applied moxibustion;combined group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine combined with moxibustion;western medicine group was treated with Metformin Enteric Coated Tablets.Result:The treatment effect and index of combined group were better than the other three groups,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).While the other three groups were close to the treatment,there was no difference(P>0.05).But the Chinese medicine group and moxibustion group’s disease patient’s index improvement condition was relatively close,must be better than the western medicine group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of spleen in the treatment of IGT can get better results.
