Abstract:Objective:To study the correlation of syndrome differentiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine in T2DM with blood lipid, insulin level and BMI.Method:80 T2DM patients treated from March 2013 to February 2014 in our hospital were selected and divided into blood-stasis obstruction type(15 cases),qi-yin deficiency type(16 cases),damp-hrat trapped spleen type(25 cases) and Yin-Xu-Re-Sheng(yin deficiency and heat hyperactivity syndrome) type(24 cases). The blood lipid level, empty insulin level of four types were detected;the correlation of TCM syndrome with blood lipid level, insulin level and BMI were estimated.Result:The rates of hyperinsulinemia in four types were significant difference(P<0.05);damp-hrat trapped spleen type had the highest rate in the hyperinsulinemia;rate of dyslipidemia in four types were significant difference(P<0.05);damp-hrat trapped spleen type had the highest rate in the dyslipidemia;the rates of obesity in four types were significantly different(P<0.05);damp-hrat trapped spleen type had the highest rate in the dyslipidemia. Conclusion:The blood lipid, insulin level and BMI are significantly different for the distinctive syndrome differentiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine in T2DM patients, especially for damp-hrat trapped spleen type.It has provided the research basis for syndrome differentiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
