Clinical Comparative Study of Different Operation Methods in the Treatment of Senile Inguinal Gernia
WANG Ming-xia
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of different operation methods in the treatment of senile inguinal hernia.Method:The clinical data of 128 cases in our hospital from June 2009 to June 2014 for the treatment of elective surgery in elderly patients with inguinal hernia were retrospectively analyzed, they were randomly divided into three groups:group A(traditional inguinal hernia ligation+repair group),group B(filling tension-free hernia repair group),group C(the PHS patch surgery group),operation time, postoperative pain, wound infection, hydrocele and postoperative recurrence of three groups were observed.Result:The incision swelling and scrotal hydrocele of three groups were compared, there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).The operation time of B,C group was significantly shorter than that of group A,there was statistical significance(P<0.05), B, C two groups there was no significant difference between group B and group C(P>0.05).The postoperative pain incidence of group A was significantly higher than those of group B and group C,there was statistical significance(P<0.05), postoperative pain between group B and group C,there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The patients of three groups were followed up from 3 months to 5 years, the recurrence rate of A group was significantly longer than those of group B and group C,there was statistical significance(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of B,C two groups were compared, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:filling tension-free hernia repair and PHS patch herniorrhaphy for inguinal hernia compared with traditional high ligation+repair has the obvious superiority, filling tension-free hernia repair with the PHS patch herniorrhaphy curative effect quite, simple operation, postoperative pain reduction and quick recovery, low recurrence rate, clinical result is satisfactory.
