Effect of Psychological Intervention on Delivery Outcome in Elderly Maternal

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of psychological intervention on delivery outcome in elderly maternal.Method:132 cases of elderly maternal were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group,66 cases in each group.The women in the control group was received routine nursing,while the intervention group was received psychological intervention based on the routine nursing.The mode of delivery,the total duration of labor, postpartum hemorrhage,and Apgar score were compared in the two groups.Result:The natural birth rate in the intervention group were higher than that in the control group,the rate of cesarean section was lower than that in the control group and the total labor time were less than the control group,the differences between the two groups were all statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of neonatal asphyxia was significantly higher in the control group than those in the intervention group.Conclusion:Psychological intervention plays a vital role in improving the delivery outcome in elderly maternal,which is worthy of clinical application.
