Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effects and safety of Carvedilol combined with Spironolactone on chronic heart failure.Method:62 cases of chronic heart failure patients were randomly divided into observation and control group. The observation group was given Carvedilol and Spironolactone with routine treatment. The control group was only treated with routine treatment.Blood pressure (BP),heart rate(HR),and N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP) levels were evaluated and measured before and after treatment.Result:After 12 weeks of therapy, the heart rate and SBP decreased obviously(P<0.05).Meanwhile NYHA cardiac function classification,LVEF and NT-proBNP significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusion:Carvedilol and Spironolactone with routine treatment can significantly improve cardiac function and clinical symptoms in patients with chronic heart failure.
