Clinical Research on Posterior Pedicle Screw Fixation in the Treatment of Scoliosis

Abstract:Objective:To discuss the clinical efficacy of posterior pedicle screw fixation on the scoliosis.Method:The posterior pedicle screw fixation was applied to treat 30 patients with scoliosis,and the Cobb angle,lumbar lordosis angle,ODI index and JOA score of patients before and after treatment were analyzed and compared.Result:NO obvious postoperative complications were found on patients,the comparisons in improvements of Cobb angle,lumbar lordosis angle,JOA score and DOI index satisfied before and after half operation,the differences were statistically significant(t=9.07,23.64,41.66 and 23.64,P<0.05). Conclusion:The posterior pedicle screw fixation can deliver significantly correction effect on the scoliosis,it is capable of recovering physiological angle f spine, it can obviously improve clinical discomfort and pain of patients,and it is recommended to be used widely in clinical practices.
