Clinical Study of High Dose Ulinastatin Combined with Xuebijing for Severe Acute Pancreatitis
Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic efficiency of high dose Ulinastatin combined with Xue bijing for severe acute pancreatitis. Method:Eighty-four patients from January 2011 to January 2015 with final diagnosis as severe acute pancreatitis were included and randomly divided into the control group, and high dose Ulinastatin combined with Xuebijing group(the study group),with 42 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated according to the therapy guideline of severe acute pancreatitis. The patients in the study group were received ulinastatin 400 000 Units intravenous drip Q8H a day combined with Xuebijing injection 100 ml intravenous drip twice a day for 7 days. In both groups Octreotide was applied to inhibit pancreatic secretion. Blood concentrations of TNF-α,IL-6,CRP were compared. Clinical effect, time of symptom disappearance, lab index recovery, diet recovery, and hospitalization were observed and compared. Result:IL-6,TNF-α,CRP in the study group decreased significantly after the treatment, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of clinical symptoms disappearance and lab index recovery were significantly shorter than that in control group and the time of diet recovery and hospitalization were shorter than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:High dose Ulinastatin combined with Xuebijing for severe acute pancreatitis can significantly reducing inflammation, improving the clinical efficacy, shortening the hospitalization. The treatment is worthy of widely use in clinic.
