Efficacy Analysis of Oral Irrigator in Treating Gingivitis of Orthodontic Patients

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the efficacy analysis of oral irrigator in treating gingivitis of orthodontic patients.Method:90 orthodontic patients from May 2013 to January 2014 in our hospital were selected.They were randomly divided into observation group and control group,45 cases in each group.The control group was given regular brushing,and the observation group was given oral irrigator based on control group.Analyzd and compard the clinical efficacy and satisfaction situation.Result:Compare the plaque index,gingival index and sulcular bleeding index of the two groups before treatment,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment,three indexes all increased compared with before and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The effect is significant of oral irrigator in treating gingivitis of orthodontic patients.It can improve the periodontal tissue of the patients and is worthy of clinical application.
