Clinical Effect of Compound Spine Date Seed Capsule Combined with Alprazolam in the Treatment of Primary Insomnia

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical curative effect of Compound Spine Date Seed Capsule on adjunctive therapy of primary insomnia. Method:82 cases of patients with primary insomnia were selected and randomized into the control groups and the treatment groups,41 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given Alprazolam and Patients in the treatment group were given Compound Spine Date Seed Capsule combined Alprazolam,and clinical effective rate were contrasted after 3 weeks,sleeping quality were evaluated with Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) before and after treatment of two groups.Result:After 3 weeks,clinical effective rate was 95.1% in the treatment group and was 82.5% in the control group,and clinical effective rate was higher in the control group than in the treatment group(P<0.05),all index of PSQI were identical between two groups before treatment(P>0.05),after 3 weeks,score of sleeping quality,fall-sleep time,sleeping time,sleep efficiency,sleep disorder,sleep medicine and daytime function were higher of the treatment group than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compound Spine Date Seed Capsule could improve the clinical curative effect on patients with primary insomnia, and improve sleeping quality,and has a well clinical curative effect.
