Intravenous Anesthesia for Anorectal Operation:A Retrospective Study of 568 Cases

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effectiveness,security and the incidence of anesthesia related complications of venous anesthesia for anorectal operation.Method:The clinical data of 568 patients with venous anesthesia for anorectal operation from April 2011 to December 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.Result:The operation of 568 patients were conducted successfully.The operation duration was 10-54 min(average 31 min).Postoperative hospital stay was 3 to 7 d(average 4.5 d).Nausea occurred in 12 cases(2.11%),dizzy occurred in 36 cases(6.34%),symptomatic treatment to alleviate,uroschesis occurred in 14 cases(2.64%),eased after catheterization.Patients with no operative death.Conclusion:Venous anesthesia for anorectal operation has the advantages of reliable effect,safety and fewer anesthesia related complications.
