Safety and Efficacy of Laparoscopy-assisted Radical Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer
Abstract:Objective:To explore the safety, feasibility and efficacy of laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer.Method:The clinical data of 43 patients with gastric cancer undergoing laparoscope-assisted radical gastrectomy from September 2009 to December 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. Result:Among 43 patients,32 cases were performed laparoscope-assisted radical distal gastrectomy and 11 cases were completed laparoscope-assisted radical total gastrectomy. The average operative time was (247±39)min,blood loss was (182±43)ml,and the number of lymph node dissected was (21±4).None suffered from operative deaths, and the rate of postoperative complication was 8.70%.The medium follow-up was 32 months(range 9-56 months),and the overall 1,2, 3-year survival rates were 96.04%,76.60% and 52.92%.Conclusion:The laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy is feasible and safe, has a good effect.
