Influence Analysis of Red Cell Cold Agglutination on the Detection Results of Different Types of Blood Cell Analyzer

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the effect of red blood cell cold agglutination on the detection results of different types of blood cell analyzer. Method:40 copies of red cell cold agglutination specimens in our hospital from September 2013 to August 2014 were selected,the specimens were detected by Sysmex-1800 and BC-5300 blood cell analyzer,and the detection results before and after 37 degrees celsius water bath were compared and analyzed. Result:WBC,PLT and HCT index of the red cell cold agglutination specimens before 37 degrees celsius water bath when using BC-5300 instruments were significantly lower than after 37 degrees celsius water bath,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01);and MCV,RBC,MCH,MCHC and RDW index were significantly higher than after 37 degrees celsius water bath,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01),there were no statistically significant differences in HGB and MPV before and after water bath(P>0.05).WBC,RBC,HCT and MPV index of the red cell cold agglutination specimens before 37 degrees celsius water bath when using Sysmex-1800 instrument were significantly lower than after 37 degrees C water bath,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01);and MCV,MCH,MCHC,RDW and PLT index were significantly higher than after 37 degrees celsius water bath,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01),there was no statistically significant difference in HGB before and after water bath(P>0.05).The detection results were normal after 37 degrees celsius water bath.After 37 degrees celsius water bath,WBC,HCT and MCHC index of the red cell cold agglutination specimens when using Sysmex-1800 equipment compared with BC-5300 equipment,there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05);MCV,MCH,HGB,RDW,PLT,RBC and MPV index compared with BC-5300 equipment,there were no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusion:The red cell cold agglutination appear a certain degree of influence on the detection results of different types of blood cell analyzer,the red blood cell cold agglutination specimens in 37 degrees celsius water bath can be tested again after eliminating cold agglutination.
