Expression and Correlation Research of XIAP and RIP1 in Colon Cancer

Abstract：Objective:To study the expression and correlation of XIAP and RIP1 protein in colon cancer.Method:The clinical and pathological data integral colon cancer tissue specimens 58 cases were randomly seleceted as the tumor group and normal colon mucosa specimens 10 cases were as the control group.Immunohistochemistry assay was used to detect XIAP,RIP1 expression,analyzing their relevance in both groups,and then to observe the relationship between their expression and clinical and pathological parameters for patients.Result:The expression of XIAP and RIP1 protein in colon cancer tissue was high, while normal mucosa was low expression,there were significant correlation between the expression of RIP1 with the patient’s age,histological grade,lymph node metastasis and tumor size(P<0.05),and there was significant correlation between the expression of XIAP and the patient’s age,clinical stage,histological grade(P<0.05).The expression of XIAP and RIP1 in colon cancer showed a positive correlation(P<0.05).Conclusion:The expression of RIP1 in colon cancer,may play an important role in promoting its development,which may be associated with the expression of XIAP,the two can be a diagnostic and prognosis indicator of colon cancer.
