Abstract:Objective:To investigate the correlation and significance between the serum level of CA199 and blood glucose control level of type 2 diabetes. Method:The serum CA199,glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),fasting blood glucose(FPG),2 hour postprandial blood glucose(2 h PG) of 85 cases with type 2 diabetic patients(diabetic group) were detected when in hospital and out of hospital, analying of the changes.60 healthy physical examination persons were selected as the control group.Result:The serum level of CA199,HbA1c,FPG,2 h PG in diabetic group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01). After treatment with HbA1c and blood glucose decreased, the levels of CA199 decreased.CA199 level had significant difference before and after treatment(P<0.01). Conclusion:The levels of Serum CA199 in patients with type 2 diabetes increase significantly, which can be used as a reference index of blood glucose control is good or bad, should pay closely attention to.
