Application of Epidural Continuous Pumping of Lidocaine in the Transurethral Resection of the Prostate in Elderly

Abstract：Objective:To observe the effect of epidural continuous pumping Lidocaine anesthesia in transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP) in elderly.Method:40 cases of TURP in elderly were chosen and randomly divided into continuous pump injection group(group C) and fractional injection group(group F),20 cases in each group.Group C was given trace injection pump for epidural cavity pump note local anesthetics,group F was given several times to traditional medicine way,determined before anesthesia and epidural drug after 5,10,20,30,60 min each point of the blood pressure,HR,SpO2,at the same time the analgesic effect of time,anesthesia plane,the effects of anesthesia,muscle loose total quality,drug amount were evaluated.Result:BP and HR of group C fluctuation significantly reduced,drug amount decreased,compared with group F,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Anesthetic plane and analgesic effect between two groups and SpO2,the differences had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:Epidural micro pump for pumping dosing method used for the elderly through the TURP can give medicine method of discontinuous points times the same anesthesia effect,smooth blood pressure,heart rate,less dose,is a safe drug delivery methods suitable for elderly people’s physiological characteristics.
