Clinical Overview of Factors Influencing Drug Interactions
JIANG Xiao-yan
Abstract:Drug interactions refers to the effect changes in two or more than two kinds of drugs at the same time.Namely synergistic(synergistic), additive(increased),antagonist(reduction) effect.Rational drug interaction can enhance curative effect or reduce adverse drug reactions, and can increase the efficacy or toxicity reduction, may also occur in some of the adverse reaction, interference treatment, aggravating illness.Effect of increasing called the efficacy of synergistic or additive effect weakens, called the efficacy of the antagonist, also the title of‘incompatibility’.Drug interactions are common, some patients after taking the condition worse, some patients after taking some medicines, the emergence of adverse reactions, are likely to be caused by drug interactions. There are many factors that influence drug interactions, can be roughly divided into the gender factor, incompatibility with the interaction of age and drugs, this paper summarizes the factors affecting drug interactions from the above aspects,in order to provide a theoretical reference for clinical medication guide.
