Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of intraventricular hemorrhage by Ommaya reservoir combined with ventricular drainage.Method:80 intraventricular hemorrhage patients were chosen.According to drainage way,all patients were divided into the traditional group and the improved group.Hematoma removal time, intracranial infection, cerebral vasospasm, hydrocephalus after three months, postoperative Rankin scores of two groups were compared.Result:In the improved group,25 cases of postoperative Rankin score(0-2 grade),4 cases of death, intracranial infection in 2 cases,1 case of cerebral vasospasm after 3 months,3 cases of hydrocephalus. In the traditional group,18 cases of postoperative Rankin score(0-2 grade),11 cases of death,9 cases of intracranial infection,10 cases of cerebral vasospasm after 3 months,11 cases of hydrocephalus. The differences between two groups had statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The method of Ommaya reservoir combined with ventricular drainage, can effectively reduce the incidence of intracranial infection, the incidence of cerebral vasospasm and hydrocephalus incidence, and improve patient outcomes, significantly improve postoperative outcomes, reduce mortality.
