Clinical Observation of Avermectin A in the Treatment of Multiple Refractory Warts

Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Avermectin A in the treatment of multiple refractory warts.Method:83 patients with multiple refractory warts in our department from January 2012 to August 2014 were selected as research objects,they were treated by oral Acitretin Capsules,20-30 mg/day for 8 weeks.The efficacy and safety of treatment were observed.Result:The treatment efficiency and the recovery rate of avermectin A on multiple refractory warts including multiple verruca plana,multiple verruca plantaris,multiple periungual warts and multiple condyloma acuminatum were 89.16%and 74.70%respectively,and no severe or permanent adverse reactions were observed.Conclusion:Treatment on multiple refractory warts by Avermectin A has a remarkable efficacy and safety,which can provide alterative treatment for many refractory multiple warts that were difficult to be cured by other traditional methods,and the present treatment was suitable for popular application in clinic.
