Abstract:Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of Carvedilol and Metoprolol in the treatment of chronic congestive heart failure. Method:67 patients with chronic congestive heart failure in the hospital department of internal medicine from January 2012 to January 2013 were selected as the observation objects, according to the different treatment methods they were randomly divided into the group A for 33 cases and the group B for 34 cases. The group A was treated with Carvedilol, the group B was treated with Metoprolol. The clinical curative effect, the main indicators of heart color ultrasound, heart rate and blood pressure between the two groups were compared.Result:After 12 months of treatment, all patients were followed up.The total effective rate of the group A was 93.9%,the group B was 91.2%,there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Compared with before treatment, the heart function indexes after treatment were significantly improved, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the group B,the LVEF of group A was significantly increased, the LVESD and LVEDD of group A were significantly decreased, and the blood pressure and heart rate of the group A were significantly better than those of the group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Carvedilol and Metoprolol can cardiac function in patients with chronic congestive heart failure, but Carvedilol total treatment is better than Metoprolol, and less adverse drug reaction. In patients with chronic congestive heart failure in selection ofβreceptor blocking drugs, preferred to Carvedilol.
