Abdominal Indwelling Catheter Drainage Combined with 5-FU and Mushrooms Polysaccharides in the Treatment of Malignant Ascites

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the efficacy of abdominal indwelling catheter drainage combined with intraperitoneal ascites drug perfusion in the treatment of malignant ascites.Method:40 cases with advanced malignant ascites used vein catheterization,the central venous catheter placed in the abdominal cavity,drainage of ascites after catheter perfusion 5-FU and Mushrooms Polysaccharide.Result:The complete remission was 18 cases in 40 cases,partial remission was 12 cases,efficiency was 75%.Mild adverse reaction was mainly mild gastrointestinal reaction and transient abdominal pain. Conclusion:For advanced cancer patients with massive ascites,peritoneal drainage,intravesical instillation of 5-FU and Mushrooms Polysaccharide are simple,easy accessibility,administration of low side effect,high utilization ratio of drug,to alleviate the suffering of patients,enhance the quality of life,prolong the survival period.
