Nursing Care of Elderly Patients with Tracheal Intubation in General Anesthesia

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the best nursing method of elderly patients with tracheal intubation in general anesthesia,to provide quality care for patients.Method:In our hospital operating room,60 elderly patients with tracheal intubation in general anesthesia from July 2013 to July 2014 were selected,they were randomly divided into the experimental grou and the control group,30 cases in each group.The control group was given basic clinical care,the experimental group was given high-quality care,the nursing efficacy of the two groups were observed and compared. Result:The hospital stay of the experimental group was significantly shorter than the control group,the incidence of complications in the experimental group was 13.33%,which was significantly lower than 40.00% in the control group,the patient satisfaction of the experimental group was 96.67%, which was significantly higher than 63.33% of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of high quality nursing of elderly patients with tracheal intubation in general anesthesia is remarkable,it can shorten the hospital stay,reduce the incidence of complications,with high patient satisfaction,clinical care can be extended and application.
