Related Factors and Treatment Measures of Chronic Diarrhea

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the related factors of chronic diarrhea,taking the corresponding treatment measures in order to reduce the incidence of chronic diarrhea and improve prognosis of patients.Method:The clinical data of 168 patients with chronic diarrhea admitted in our hospital from August 2010 to June 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.The major clinical manifestations were abdominal pain,abdominal distention,diarrhea, stool dilute water samples,paste,myxoid and mucus pus and blood stools.The treatment methods were mainly etiological treatment, alternative treatment and support therapy.Result:In 168 patients,52 patients with functional diarrhea,41 cases of diarrhea after gastrointestinal surgery,nonspecific inflammation in 38 cases,23 cases of bacillary dysentery,9 cases of parasitic disease, 5 cases of intestinal tuberculosis.After 6 months of follow-up,27 cases were markedly effective,effective was 128 cases,invalid was 13 cases,the total effective rate was 92.26%.Conclusion:Treatment for chronic diarrhea,first should actively look for the cause,for the cause of choosing the appropriate treatment,the second in the treatment of symptomatic support,protection of gastrointestinal mucosa,as soon as possible to restore the intestinal function.
