Clinical Effect and Safety of Small Dose of Midazolam Combined with Fentanyl for Local Anesthesia

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical effect and safety of small dose of Midazolam combined with Fentanyl for local anesthesia. Method:97 patients with local anesthesia in our hospital were divided into the observation group(48 cases) and the control group(49 cases).The observation group was given small dose of Midazolam combined with Fentanyl for local anesthesia,while the control group was given routine drugs for local anesthesia. Blood pressure(BP),heart rate(HR) and sedative effect of two group were observed.Result:BP and HR for two groups of time points compared to each other,there were no significant differences(P>0.05).The sedative effects of the observation group was better than that of the control group,discomfort of the observation group was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Small dose of Midazolam combined with Fentanyl for local anesthesia can make good results,better security,and application.
