Effect and Safety of Renal Denervation in the Treatment of Refractory Hypertension
Abstract:Objective:To analyze and compare the effect and safety of renal denervation(RND) in the treatment of refractory hypertension. Method:From January 2012 to January 2014 in the author’s hospital RDN treatment of 9 cases of elderly patients with resistant hypertension and 18 cases with drug therapy in elderly patients with resistant hypertension were chosen as the research objects.Patients with drug treatment were as the control group, patients with RDN were as the experimental group. The blood pressure, antihypertensive drugs application changes and the changes of test group patients with renal function of two groups were compared.Result:After 2 weeks,1 month,3 months,6 months the systolic pressure and diastolic blood pressure of the experimental group were significantly lower than control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The experimental group medicine species decreased significantly after treatment, compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the control group had no change before and after treatment drug kinds.Postoperative patients kidney structure and function did not appear abnormal changes, it was safe. Conclusion:Patients with resistant hypertension treated with percutaneous renal to sympathetic nerve surgery can significantly reduce blood pressure, and can effectively avoid the adverse reaction to which drug treatment,do not cause kidney functional disorder, significantly improve the treatment efficiency,is worthy of clinical promotion.
