The Prevention Effect of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention in the Intensive Care Unit of the Ventilator Associated Pneumonia

Abstract：Objective:To study the prevention effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in the intensive care unit ventilator associated pneumonia(VAP).Method:52 patients with mechanical ventilation in our hospital intensive care unit from January 2014 to September 2014 were selected as the observation group,they were given comprehensive nursing intervention on the basis of conventional nursing implementation,48 patients with mechanical ventilation were from January 2013 to September 2013 which were taken routine nursing were retrospective analysed and selected as the control group,the time of mechanical ventilation,the incidence of VAP and VAP occurrence time of the two groups were compared.Result:The time of mechanical ventilation of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P<0.01);the incidence of VAP was 9.62%in the observation group,it was significantly lower than 29.17%in the control group(P<0.05);VAP occurrence time was significantly delay than the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Comprehensive nursing intervention in patients with mechanical ventilation in ICU can effectively shorten the time and reduce the incidence of ventilator associated pneumonia and delay time,improve prognosis,improve the quality of nursing.
