Abstract:Objective:To investigate the efficacy of high-dose Mannatide in pleural perfusion treatment of patient with malignant pleural effusion. Method:60 patients with malignant pleural effusions from January 2013 to June 2014 in our hospital were selected as the study subjects and they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. The control group was treated with small dose of Mannatide, while the observation group was applied with high-dose Mannatide. After treatment, the therapeutic effect and quality of life of two groups were investigated.Result:(1)The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(73.33%),there were statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)After treatment, patient whose KPS score improved in observation group accounted for 50.00%,while patients whose KPS score reduced accounted for about 40.00%,and patients with stable KPS score accounted for 10.00%,moreover,clinical benefit rate in the observation group was 90.00%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(73.33%),there were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:High dose Mannatide in pleural perfusion treatment can effectively treat malignant pleural effusion and improve the patients’ quality of life.
