Abstract:Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α) in salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma(SACC).Method:Immunohistochemistry method was used.HIF-1α in 45 cases of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma,45 cases of pleomorphic adenoma and 45 cases of normal salivary gland tissue were detected.Result:The positive expression rate of HIF-1α in normal salivary gland tissue, pleomorphic adenoma and ACC increased in turn, the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).HIF-1α in transfer group was dramatically higher than that in non-metastatic group,in nerve invasion group was higher than that in non-infringement group(P<0.05).Conclusion:HIF-1α can be an important indicator of ACC diagnosis, invasion, metastasis and prognosis.
