Effect Analysis of Umbilical Cord Cutting Timing on Newborn Wet Lung

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of different umbilical cord cutting timings on newborn wet lung.Method:100 cases of newborn wet lung admitted in our hospital from February 2010 to February 2013 were selected as the research object.According to review the results of the survey,the patients were divided into the observation group(break umbilical after 10-15 min) and the control group(break umbilical after 1-5 min),and the overall situation,wet lung in severe situation and the function of respiratory cycle of two groups were observed.Result:The children’s whole situation(Apgar score),cases of severe wet lung and respiratory functions of two groups were compared,there were statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Appropriately delaying umbilical cord cutting timing(after 10-15 min) is greatly benefit to the improvement of the newborn overall situation and respiratory function,and significantly reduce the incidence of wet lung,is worthy of certain clinical promotion.
