Estimation of the Effect of Sulfadiazine Zinc in the Treatment of Herpes Zoster

Abstract：Objective:To evaluate the effect of Sulfadiazine Zinc in the treatment of herpes zoster.Method:110 cases were selected and randomly divided into nursing group and control group.Patients in the nursing group received the treatment of Sulfadiazine Zinc,while the Gentamicin was used in the control group. All the patients were administered the Acyclovir Tablets for anti-virus treatment.The major endpoints were patients’ health situation at 14 days after the disease onset,the time to cure the herpes surface,the time to release of pain,and the prevalence of scaring case.Result:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.36%,respectively,70.91%in the control group,the rates were significantly different(P<0.05).The time to cure the herpes surface,the time to release of pain in the nursing group and the prevalence of scaring case were less than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:It is effective to use Sulfadiazine Zinc for herpes zoster treatment.
