The Clinical Efficacy of Drug Combined with Functional Endoscopic Sinus Operation in the Treatment of Chronic Rhinosinusitis

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of drug combined with functional endoscopic sinus operation in the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis.Method:120 cases of chronic rhinosinusitis in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2013 were selected for this study and divided into observation group and control group according the odd or even number.The control group was treated with drug treatment,the observation group adopted functional endoscopic sinus operation treatment on the basis of the control group.The visual analog scale score and somatic symptoms score of SNOT-20 were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Result:The VAS score and somatic symptoms score of SNOT-20 in the observation group before treatment were (6.55±1.05) and (38.62±10.54) points,compared with the control group there were no significant difference(P>0.05).After treatment,they declined to (0.61±0.08) and (5.91±1.03) points,respectively,and the two indexes were significantly difference before and after treatment(P<0.05),and they also had significant difference compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Drug combined with functional endoscopic sinus operation in the treatment of sinusitis can be more effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of patients,improve the quality of life,fully exert anti-inflammatory effects,make the treatment effect strengthened,so can be popularized as the preferred method for sinusitis treatment.
