The Clinical Observation of Valaciclovir Hydrochlordide in the Treatment of Recurrent Genital Herpes

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of using Valaciclovir Hydrochlordide in the treatment of recurrent genital herpes.Method:86 patients with recurrent genital herpes in our hospital from April 2011 to August 2013 were selected,they were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Acyclovir,the observation group was treated with Valaciclovir Hydrochlordide.The clinical effect and recurrence between the two groups were observed and compared.Result:After treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was 93.0%(40/43),it was significantly higher than 69.8%(30/43) of control group,the recurrence rate of observation group was 4.7%(2/43), it was significantly lower than 23.3%(10/43) of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of Valaciclovir Hydrochloride in the treatment of recurrent genital herpes is remarkable,can improve the total efficiency of treatment,reduce recurrence rate,is worthy of clinical use.
