The Clinical Research of Coughs Variant Asthma

Abstract：Objective:To study traditional Chinese medicine in combination therapy in children with coughs variant asthma therapy clinical effect. Method:46 cases of children with cough variant asthma from April 2012 to April 2013 in our hospital were selected,according to the random number table they were divided into experimental group and control group,23 cases in each.The experimental group received traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine,the control group using conventional medicine for treatment of children.The temperature changes and cough were strict monitored,if found in children with severe discomfort to timely contact with the medical staff,two groups of children of sex,age,duration and other general information as well as treatment two weeks after treatment,and adverse effects in children were collected and statistical analysed.Result:The total effective rate of experimental group was 95.7%, while the control group was only 73.9%,the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05).The experimental group had adverse reactions was 4.3%,lower than the 26.1%in the control group,the difference was statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine in integrative medicine in the treatment of children with cough variant asthma treatment can play to enhance the therapeutic effect,reduce adverse clinical outcomes.
