Abstract:Objective:To study the postoperative effect of radiotherapy combined with hyperbaric oxygen on cerebroma.Method:64 cerebroma patients in our hospital were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to different treatment methods,32 cases in each group. The control group was treated with radiotherapy alone, the treatment group was treated with radiotherapy combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The clinical efficacy and survival rate of two groups were observed.Result:The condition of two groups were improved after the treatment. But the local control rate of the treatment group(87.5%and TTP 38 cases) were significantly better than the control group(59.4%and TTP 23 cases). The second year survival rate and the third year survival rate was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The nausea, dizziness, headache rate of two groups were 20 cases(62.5%),23 cases(71.9%),the treatment group patients with radiation encephalopathy in 5 cases(15.6%) were significantly lower than those of control group 9 cases(28.1%),there were statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Brain tumors treated with hyperbaric oxygen combined with radiotherapy could improve the postoperative local control rate and TTP effectively, and reduce the adverse reaction after operation and improve the patient’s life level,it is worthy of promotion.
