Abstract:Objective:To explore curative effect and safety of the auxiliary treatment of Montelukast on pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia.Method:78 cases of children with mycoplasma pneumonia were selected, which were admitted in our hospital from March 2012 to September 2013,they were randomly divided into two groups. In the control group,37 cases were given sequential therapy of “static drop-oral” azithromycin and conventional oral,41 cases in the control group were given Montelukast on the basis of the control group, and then comprehensive compared for the therapeutic outcome of the two groups after 14 days treatment.Result:The total effective rate of experimental group(90.24%) was significantly higher than the control group(72.97%),and the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),the experimental group was less than the control group on the fade time of clinical signs, such as cough, fever, lung signs(P<0.05).There was no adverse reaction related to Montelukast. Conclusion:The effect of the auxiliary treatment of Montelukast on pediatric mycoplasma pneumonia is remarkable, and high safety, worthy of clinical popularization and application.
