Clinical Values of Applying Gastrostomy under Endoscope in Enteral Nutrition of Severe Patients

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the clinical values of applying gastrostomy under endoscope in enteral nutrition of severe patients.Method:40 severe patients treated in our hospital from Jun 2013 to Apr 2014 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,the control group(15 cases) received conventional gastrostomy,the experimental group(25 cases) received gastrostomy under endoscope,clinical efficacy and nutrition status of two groups were observed.Result:The operation time,bleeding volume,total tube feed time,postoperative complications of experimental group were significantly lower than those in control group,the body mass index(BMI) and serum albumin level of experimental group were significantly higher than control group,differences between two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of applying gastrostomy under endoscope in enteral nutrition of severe patients is obvious,which has important application values in clinic.
