Analysis on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Osteoporosis Conditions and Its Influence Factors

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the factors and influence of the occurrence of type 2 diabetes with osteoporosis as a complication.Method:One hundred and eighty-seven cases of type 2 diabetic patients were selected as the research objects from 2010 February to 2013 February,the collected data was analysed by the descriptive statistics and Logistic regression.Result:The incidence rate of osteoporosis as a type 2 diabetes complication was 47.59%. BMI≥28 kg/m2(OR=3.890,P=0.000),abnormal glycosylated hemoglobin(OR=5.811,P=0.000) and diabetic nephropathy (OR=7.123,P=0.000) were the risk factors for type 2 diabetes complicated with osteoporosis.Conclusion:There is a high incidence of diabetic osteoporosis,its occurrence is influenced by many factors.
