Curative Effect of Oxytocin Combined with Misoprostol in Treatment of Postpartum Hemorrhage

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the curative effect of Oxytocin combined with Misoprostol in treatment of postpartum hemorrhage.Method:Sixty cases of postpartum hemorrhage patients were treated in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2014,and were randomly divided into the control group and observation group,each group of 30 cases.Patients in the control group received Oxytocin treatment,while patients in the observation group received the combination therapy of Oxytocin and Misoprostol.2 h,24 h bleeding and adverse reaction rates of two groups’patients were observed to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Result:After treatment,postpartum 2 h,24 h bleeding of observation group patients were significantly less than that in the control group,and the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment,the adverse reaction rate in observation group was 13.33%,while the adverse reaction rate in control group was 10.00%, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:Combination therapy of Oxytocin and Misoprostol can effectively control the postpartum hemorrhage volume of 2 h,24 h,has a low incidence rate of adverse reaction,and has a high safety coefficient.
