Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic results of laparoscopic uterine artery occlusion combined with myomectomy for uterine fibroids. Method:Seventy-six uterine fibroid patients were treated in department of obstetrics and gynecology, affiliated changshu hospital of suzhou university from March 2010 to March 2011.Twenty patients were performed by laparoscopic uterine artery occlusion combined with myomectomy, while 56 patients by laparoscopic myomectomy only. The indicators between the two groups were compared after treatment, such as the effective rate, complications, and so on.Result:All cases of the laparoscopic surgery were successful. All the patients got well with no surgical complications and postoperative complications. The intraoperative blood loss, postoperative disease rate for clinical treatment of the treatment group were significantly shorter than the control group(P<0.05).The differences of two groups of operation time, length of hospital stay had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:Laparoscopic myomectomy has been used to treat uterine fibroids and achieved satisfied clinical therapeutic effects.Laparoscopic uterine artery occlusion combined with myomectomy for uterine fibroids has the characteristic of less blood loss, shorter operative time, lower recurrence of myoma and clear operative field. It can decrease the incidence of postoperative complications with less injured by electrocoagulation and less tissue necrosis.
