Causes of the Rising Cesarean Section Rate

Abstract：Objective:To explore the causes for the rising cesarean section rate.Method:6238 cases of inpatient delivery who were hospitalized in Nanyang Central Hospital during January 2009 and December 2013 were selected for comparative analysis,while 1514 cases of cesarean section were analyzed retrospectively from 2012 to 2013.Result:The cesarean section rate of 5 years was increasing year by year. Factors affecting as follows:the social factors>fetal distress>cord around neck>oligohydramnios>pregnancy complications>breech>macrosomia>scar uterus.Conclusion:Start with pregnant women and their families, and to increase health education and advocacy efforts,the pros and cons of to inform eutocia cesarean section,change the misconceptions of pregnant women for vaginal delivery,so that before delivery to determine the correct mode of delivery,and doctors should correctly grasp the indications of cesarean section cesarean section rate,so that the stability in a reasonable range,to maximize the protection of safe motherhood,the ultimate purpose of the Child eugenics safe Motherhood"better for women and children’s health services.
