Therapeutic Effect of Meglumine Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate on Chronic Heart Failure in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Coronary Heart Disease
Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect and safety of meglumine cyclic adenosine monophosphate (MCA) in treating chronic heart failure (CHF) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease.Method:60 cases diagnosed with CHF in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease were treated in author’s hospital, were randomlydⅣided into a control group and treatment group,30 cases in each. The control group was treated with conventional basic therapy, the treatment group was treated with MCA by intravenous infusion about 180 mg once a day based on the basic therapy. The therapeutic period was 2 weeks. After the end of treatment 4 weeks the NYHA stating, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),the concentration of plasma amino terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor (NT-proBNP) were compared with in the same group and between the two groups before and after treatment. Result:There was no significant difference in the observed indicators between the two groups before therapy(P>0. 05),in both groups after treatment heart function and LVEF increasd significantly and plasma NT-proBNP concentration decreased significantly, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),but the patients in the treatment group had a better clinical effect and a improved heart function than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:Good therapeutic effect was achieved in the group with comnbined treatment without obvious side effect.
